Dskate Hockey is a revolutionary program for boys & girls living with Type 1 Diabetes, combining diabetes education and hockey skill development into a one-of-a-kind experience for players and parents.

Dskate Minnesota will be our first U.S. program, featuring a full 4-day Dskate experience for 120 T1D participants.

Backed by over a decade of experience and a unique and proven program model, Dskate Minnesota will provide participants with more T1D support and specialized hockey development than they've ever experienced before.

Diagnosed at age 11, the first thing Riley Tufte asked was, "Can I still play hockey?"

Claiming the title of Mr. Hockey in 2015-16, the Coon Rapids, Minnesota, native, has made a career out of answering that question with a resounding YES!

Selected in the 1st Round, 25th overall, of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Dallas Stars, Tufte starred for the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs before making his pro debut.

Now a member of the Colorado Avalanche, Riley is excited to bring Dskate to Minnesota and to provide T1D hockey players the opportunity to thrive on the ice with the support they deserve.
